As soon as you can drag your eyes from that ring on your finger, it is time to get planning. And for that you need to visit a wedding expo where all the wedding essentials and the latest trends will be on display. If you are feeling overwhelmed – come browse, see what’s available and gather inspiration and expert tips and advice. If you are super organised – come along to meet and book suppliers you have been communicating with online.
Bring along parents, siblings, the bridal party, and, of course, your future spouse! Since so many products and services are under the one roof, wedding expos make it easier for you to discuss options together, and with the experts, in person. And, if that doesn’t sound like your idea of fun, at least come to sample the sweets.
When the internet has all you need to know about weddings and allows you to organise and book suppliers online, why should you attend our wedding expos?
It’s safe to say your wedding probably isn’t going to happen online so you want to make sure you get along with the suppliers you are going to be spending the day with. At wedding expos you can meet and speak with wedding professionals in person and get instant feedback instead of waiting hours for a reply to your email.
There is no doubt the internet is a great place to find ideas, but not everything you see online turns out quite the way you hope. Wedding expos give you the opportunity to see, touch, hear, taste, or smell the real thing so you know if that amazing idea you saw on the internet is really going to look as great on your wedding day.
Plenty of exhibitors give out samples on the day and by attending you also have a chance to win all sorts of great prizes.
With over 60 exhibitors under the one roof, at a wedding expo you can find everything for your wedding – from engagement to honeymoon – in a few hours instead of trawling internet directories or racing all over town. Plus, many exhibitors offer special wedding expo discounts and packages that you can take advantage of to bring your dream wedding one step closer to reality.
All proceeds raised from the day’s gold coin donation at the door go to Mackay’s local Breast Cancer Support Service group. This volunteer group offers face-to-face support to local women who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. As so many of our visitors and exhibitors will either need or know someone who will need Mackay’s Breast Cancer Support Service, we believe this is a good cause to support.
